What is actually inside the jar?
Air. Sealed, small-batch air inspired by the meal listed on the label. We are a novelty brand. The jar is a collectible. The humor is the product. The tasting notes are written with complete sincerity about something that contains nothing. We feel this is important to say upfront so that you can decide whether you’re in. (You’re in.)
Are the tasting notes real?
They are completely real and entirely fictional simultaneously. We write actual tasting notes using the language of fine wine and craft beer, applied in full seriousness to air from a mason jar. The notes are accurate in tone. They are inaccurate in every other way. We stand behind them.
What comes in the box?
Every jar ships with: the sealed jar (labeled with the meal origin, harvest date, and batch number), a tasting note card, and a Certificate of Authenticity. If you add the gift box upgrade, it also includes a rigid gift box, tissue paper, and a handwritten note from the estate. Custom harvest orders include a personalized labels and a certificate with the specific meal named.
Can I customize a jar for someone?
Yes! The Custom Harvest listing lets you specify any meal. We'll write tasting notes for it, label it with the origin, and include a personalized Certificate. At checkout, you can also add a message to the insert card. We have fulfilled orders for birthdays, weddings, breakups, retirements, and at least one apology that we thought showed real creativity.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within 1-2 business days. Standard delivery runs 3-5 business days after that. Priority is available at checkout if the situation is urgent, which we understand. The harvest does not wait.
When do seasonal releases drop?
Seasonal drops follow the calendar and will usually be available to pre-order about 2 weeks before the occasion. Join the email list for early access - season releases always sell out quickly.
Is this food safe?
The jars are food-grade glass. The lids are food-safe. The contents are air. There, objectively, nothing unsafe about any of this, but we appreciate the diligence.
Can I use this as a wedding favor?
Multiple customers have done exactly this. Custom labels with the couple's names and wedding date. Tasting notes referencing the rehearsal dinner or favorite dish. A Certificate of Authenticity for the happy couple. It was a hit every time.
What is your return policy?
